The Progress and Consistency Tool (PaCT) - Demo site

PaCT background

1. The purpose of PaCT is to provide a dependable measure of achievement that can be used to track student progress and achievement in relation to the New Zealand Curriculum, using the Learning Progression Frameworks.
2. PaCT is designed to make progress and achievement visible, it builds on and encourages sound classroom assessment practice.
3. PaCT will provide teachers with information about students' progress and achievement in the foundation learning areas of reading, writing and maths required for successful learning within and across The New Zealand Curriculum.
4. PaCT will also enable students' progress to be monitored over time between years 1-10 and also helps teachers and schools to track the progress of groups or cohorts of learners.

PaCT demo site background

5. The purpose of the PaCT demo site is to provide a secure environment where teachers or other interested parties can trial and become familiar with the functionalities the Learning Progression Frameworks and PaCT offer.
6. The PaCT demo site does not use real students. Fake school and student profiles have been created specifically for the PaCT demo site.
7. Data contained within the PaCT demo site is reset at the end of each day. Any student judgments, or other changes made during each day are deleted at the end of that day.
8. When you access the PaCT demo site you will be assigned a fake school with full access rights. Access will end when you log out, close your browser, or automatically at the end of the day when the site is reset.

9. The purpose of this agreement is to clearly state the conditions by which you can use the PaCT demo site.

10. I agree that I will use the PaCT demo site responsibly and not record information that may be offensive to any persons.
11. I agree that I will not use any data, reports or information from the PaCT demo site as representative of any actual students, teachers or schools.
12. I accept that any judgments, other information I enter or changes I make in the PaCT demo site will be deleted at the end of each day.
